While no one expected anyone to go in the first two days (rounds 1-15), the waiting game is on for several Zips hurlers. I would be VERY surprised if none of them go today.

As far as my picks for who has a shot:

Andrew Brown - No-brainer here. He's got a lot of things going for him with a good head on his shoulders, a good pitcher's build, and some nasty stuff. Hopefully he goes early today.

Alex Loftin - Who knows with Loftin. He's not particularly impressive at any one thing but he has the makings of an adequate reliever. He could go late.

Scott Foster - Outside chance here. He probably wont go but after his outstanding senior season and the fact that he's a lefty with decent velocity, you can't entirely count him out. I'd be surprised if he was drafted but I wouldn't be "shocked".

Anyone else have any thoughts?

All but maybe two of these guys are destined to make thousands of dollars in the minors.

Murphy and Starn have the chance to be something special. Starn went low in my personal opinion and Murphy can absolutely SMASH the ball.
