yazan07
btw, I read months ago that Serna can and has played left back, but doesn't really like playing there. I also heard that Gallego prefers not to play in the midfield. I wonder how much of these preferences Porter takes into consideration or if he just tells players "this is where you're playing." bobbyake
Quinn will be the starter against taller teams. His height is an asset for set pieces

I seriously doubt Porter cares what a guy's "preferred" position is.
yazan07
I seriously doubt Porter cares what a guy's "preferred" position is. Okay, I just know sometimes there is an issue of if a player is not happy they may not perform as well. I guess that is definitely more of an issue for professional players as oppose to college players though. So I guess we could have: Yedlin, Souders, Barson, Serna Trapp, Gallego, Caldwell Quinn, Koroma, Derschang/Brenes/Schmidt/someone

ZipItUpNow
Was DeAndre enthusiastic about moving to RB? DeAndre was first moved to RB at National Camp - when Porter was an assistant coach. His response to the move was that it was a lot of fun getting to know a new position surrounded by such good players.

Zip_ME87
Derschang's stat production at SMU doesn't look like a Zip starter. Anyone know if he's playing PDL right now? http://www.rcfoxes.com/2012_Statistics.htm 17 M Derschang, Robbie Games Played: 6 Points: 3 Minutes: 455 Goals: Assists: 3 Shots: 7 Fouls:
