akzipper
I don't agree with what he did, but do think his punishment was a bit harsh. It seems like more of a domestic violence case than anything else, which should have resulted in probation.
Big Zip
He was kicking the girl in the head when she was down...sounds like assault to me. I'm actually shocked the kid could get out in 180 days.

It seems like more of a domestic violence case than anything else, which should have resulted in probation. So, if it is assault, it is OK that he receives 3 years. But.. if it is domestic violence, then it should be probation. What a crock. I know plenty of police officers, and they would much rather deal with anything else than with a domestic violence call. Farmer got the correct punishment!
Zipmeister
Felony Power Forward He will be on probation in three yrs.. but.... I give this video 5 of 5 stars. It looked like the defendant was trying out for the Spanish national basketball team. That flop would make Juan Carlos Navarro jealous. alexopats@yahoo.com
Not that this means anything, but Harney and Tree seemed bummed on Twitter that their "Boy" is going away. Harney even chose a picture of Farmer guarding him.

Harney even chose a picture of Farmer guarding him. I'm not going to lie, I was going to post something about Farmer when he was arrested back in May, hoping the Zips would go after him if he was cleared. I didn't know for sure if Tree and Harney were close with him, but I figured Tree probably was because I believe Farmer is orginally from Euclid. He may be too much baggage at this point, but if Farmer does get out early and dedicates himself on using this as a learning experience, I wouldn't be against bringing him in. I still don't necessarily believe he is a bad guy (though I don't know that for certain either), but after reading about the case, it sounds he is a kid (or young adult if you want to be technical) that made a horribly stupid (and violent) mistake and he will be paying for it.
