Is the Godfather leaving?

I heard from a friend of mine that Waddell is taking Matt his GA with him too! That's the guy who has done all of the student marketing, mic guy for basketball, put together all of the bus trips and started AK-ROWDIES! Does anyone know him that can confrim this? Mack needs to keep him here without a doubt! C'mon Mack!

I haven't heard that, but I wouldn't be surprised if Wadd tries to take his best to Cincinatti with him. Any ideas as to who else he would take with him?

I hope this isn't true. If he does leave what will happen to the AK-Rowdies? I know we'll still have it but I'm worried that if someone new takes over it won't be as well done as it was this first year.

how is it that the university is allowing one guy to leave and take half our staff? i know there's some reason out there like, we can't stop them. but really, i'm sure the university could do something to keep these people here. they're gonna have to do something or our fifteen minutes of fame will be 5 minutes long.

sure. we can pay them a lot more money than they are making now, join a BCS conference and give them unlimited opportunites. it hurts to lose all these guys but that's life at a mid major. i hate it but what can we do? just hope we get up and coming stars like those we lost to replace them. proenza has us on the right track and i'm sure we're attracting the kind of people that we need. it's the northeast ohio mantra of "someday we'll be on top". someday we will, i just wish the guys we lost were here for it with us.

From what I understand, the AK-Rowdies will become a student-run organization, much like any other club or organization on campus. I can see them electing officers and holding general meetings. I think it would be a huge disappointment to lose Matt, but it definitely wouldn't mean the end of the Rowdies. Whatever happens, I want to wish the best to and thank everyone involved in starting and maintaining the AK-Rowdies this year!

I just e-mailed Matt last weekend and he said he's working on a lot of big stuff for next year.I suppose it's possible he's leaving, but it doesn't seem like it from talking to him.

In Matt WE Trust, I hope We can find a way to keep Matt he is the the reason the Zips are as good as they are. He has done sone much for the students and this University it is unreal. I have the most uprespect for Matt. He has taught me so much and has been like a big brother to me. My understanding was that Matt is a graduate student/assistant rather than a regular employee ! So when poeple talk about him going to Cincy, that means either giving up his graduate degree or transferring to Cincy (transferring in grad. schools is not that simple).I didn't know Mike Wodall and that's why i didn't comment much about his departure but i know Matt and I hope he is not leaving !

I have worked with Matt for a while now. He is kind of a toolbag and I really don't like him much. Granted he has a lot of great ideas but most of them are stolen. Alright just kidding!Something good I can say about him is that he has a great mind and sense of what students want and he had the resources to do it. Hopefully he has those same resources again this up coming season but we will have to wait and see.By the way Matt "Godfather" Newhouse you are such an A-Hole! haha! Bite it you flamer!
