bobbyake
I wont be tailgating for the game tonight, too much running around to do after work. It will be interesting to see how the attendance turns out tonight. Porter's been going around campus recruiting students to attend, so the student attendance should be better tonight. But, high school soccer playoffs start today. I know a few people that wont be at the game today because of high school playoffs. And, the US plays Guatemala in an extremely important World Cup qualifier game. A few AO Akron guys wont be at the Akron game tonight. The last time Akron played on a Tuesday at CCF/FES was against Michigan.
AkronZip54321
Do we agree that the 2010 Michigan game at Akron was the best performance in the Porter-era?
fknbuflobo
Do we agree that the 2010 Michigan game at Akron was the best performance in the Porter-era? Most goals? Yes. But the Best Performance in the Porter era (so far) was the come-from-behind semi-final vs. that same Michigan team.
okayokay
Looked at Michigan stats and they have only scored 15 this year while giving up 16. Five guys have 2 goals each as team leaders.

I think best performance during the regular season was the 3-0 win at North Carolina followed by the 2-0 win at Wake Forest two days later to start the 2010 season. jem101
Any idea if Barson or Dershang will play tonight? or when they might return? Derschang tweeted this morning that he is still out for tonight with concussion symptoms. Said he expects to be back for Saturday. Not sure on Barson. TheTank123
No Barson is tough. His on ball composure was missed tonight. Michigan pressured high and hard and subbed a lot. Very happy with the win, Michigan was the highest rated RPI team we play for the rest of the year (I believe, could be totally off though). WVU on Saturday is an enormous game. bobbyake
2nd best crowd of the year and best Tuesday crowd. The students made the difference. It helps when Porter goes out of his way to reach them on campus. He will be greatly missed next year. Attendance 3,
Crew8
I miss my first match in 3 years and all you could pull out was a 1-0 win, Up a man too. Geez! I'm only kidding. It does feel odd to miss a match though. Thankful it was all worth it to see the USMNT move on to the next round of World Cup Qualifying. I'll be back in form to kick off another streak against West Virginia.
bigzipguy
We missed some good chances to score last night. I have seen Mchigan play several times this year in addition to the match last night, via the internet and the Big Ten network. Their GK is solid, and I went over and said congrats to the GK and his parents. Felt the need to give credit where credit is due. On to West Virginia match!!!! He was always in position and he and his defense were well coordinated. Even on the near misses (like Koroma's wicked left that grazed the post) he was in good position. My buddy and I agreed that he was the player of the match (although David had a nice save too, with the reaction save on the point blank header).
