footballzip Posted November 21, 2012 Report Posted November 21, 2012 I know i am stating the obvious, but we need players. Watching the team these last three years, we really lack size, talent, and speed. Our interior lines get knocked off the ball, and teams run on us at will. Most of the MAC teams noticibly have better talent than us. It is simple, coaches need to recruit size and speed, and build depth. Quote

It vexes me that UA has never been able to recruit the horses. I just don't get it. Posters are convinced that TB will bring in big time players but I'm not. We'll know soon enough. Even coming off a one win season, if anyone can recruit at Akron it will be him. If the 2013 class isn't very promising Terry's goose is cooked, and by extension, so is UA's. Quote
ZachTheZip Posted November 23, 2012 Report Posted November 23, 2012 Coach Bowden only had three weeks between when we hired him and signing day to recruit players. We'll get players. We'll also develop more of our current players. Quote

33Akrondad7 Posted November 23, 2012 Report Posted November 23, 2012 If I am reading it right, Akron has 85 full scollys and 25 partial per year scollys. I am new to this and I dont want to sound like a total idiot. Quote
