ZipAnalyst Posted March 19, 2006 Report Posted March 19, 2006 Let us hope that Lancaster makes it to the finals. If Lancaster does make it, those us who have Time-Warner cable will be able to see the finals Ohio News Network (ONN) next Saturday.Seeing McKnight in action will equip us to assess how much he, as a freshman, will be able to help alleviate the Zip "big man" and "inside quickness" problem that haunted the Zips this year. mnhouse Posted March 19, 2006 Report Posted March 19, 2006 From what i understand, the entire final four will be on ONN. Quote
ZipAnalyst Posted March 19, 2006 Report Posted March 19, 2006 Saturday's games for sure. Thursday and Friday? I am not sure. However, I have e-mailed ONN for clarification. Will post the response when I get it. Quote
a-zip Posted March 19, 2006 Report Posted March 19, 2006 Will this additional press for him put us in any jeopardy of losing him? Quote
Blue & Gold Posted March 20, 2006 Report Posted March 20, 2006 I doubt it. He was offered by West Virginia before he committed to us. Quote
MRasor0200 Posted March 20, 2006 Report Posted March 20, 2006 Per Rivals.com, Bardo, McKnight and Roberts each signed letters of intent. That means they have to go to Akron, or sit out a year, just as if they were transferring. Quote
zipboy Posted March 20, 2006 Report Posted March 20, 2006 Why would he not want to go to Akron? After watching the tourney today, he can be part of a sweet sixteen run in 2 years. Quote
ZipAnalyst Posted March 20, 2006 Report Posted March 20, 2006 I have the story on the ONN broadcast of the HS championship games. For sure: the Saturday championship for all divisions will be live.Maybe: the Friday games will also be televised live.If not: the ONN crew will be on-hand to film highlights to air on its broadcasts for Friday. All ZipNations: what the highlights/live action on Lancaster and come back to this forum with your observations.
