Memphis Struggling at Xavier

Memphis is trying to stretch its winning streak to 19 tonight, and take over the nation's longest winning streak from the Zips.

Xavier has other ideas, and is holding a 31-20 lead at halftime.

Go Musketeers!

As if we needed another reason to want to win tomorrow, holding the longest streak in the nation on our own adds to the fun!

Nice to hear the streak belongs to Akron again at the end of the game but other than that it doesn't mean much. Minnesota upset Indiana and they are in contention for an at-large with the Zips. Well regardless, it's almost time to see if the Zips have earned their spot.

CINCINNATI -- Brad Redford hit a long 3-pointer that put Xavier back ahead after wasting a 13-point lead, and the Musketeers beat No. 19 Memphis 64-62 on Tuesday night, ending the Tigers' 18-game winning streak. .....

..... The Tigers (24-4) scored only 20 points in the first half -- their lowest-scoring half of the season -- and got dominated on the boards, ending a couple of notable streaks. Their 18-game winning streak was tied with Akron for longest in the nation. .....

I have an idea for a poll question:

At your place of employment, how tired are your co-workers of the following phrase?

"Fear the Roo in Akron,Ohio - Home of the Zips!!"

I think the majority of the people at my employer would respond with PRETTY DAMN TIRED. Bad news for them is if the Zips win tonight, the cheerleading outbursts from Keener are only going to get more frequent and boisterous.

FEAR THE ROOOOOOOOOO!!!!! :gun::rock::gun::cheers::gun:
