ZachTheZip
Take it or leave it, but I heard that there's a possibility that a 4-star WR from Minnesota with a lot of baggage by the name of Andre McDonald was looking at transferring to Akron. Don't know if Bowden would take him or if he could even stay out of trouble. Just a rumor that was passed on to me. Again, take it or leave it. KentZip
Sounds like he has had multiple chances at Minnesota to stay in school and on the field and hasn't been able to respond.

I havent taken the time to look up the specifics on this kid, but since Bowden has been here, a decent amount of our transfers have been troubled players. Most have helped the team a lot and I believe all have stayed out of trouble once they got here.

Well with Tressel and Bowden here, I doubt you'll get your wish on that. Outside of Auburn, Bowden has built a career around nabbing those talented problem-children and giving them a second chance. *cough* Avis Commack *Cough* CJ Mizell...come to mind as "troubled" kids who got a second chance with Bowden. What you want is a coach who can evaluate whether or not that person could successfully use the second chance, and you need a coach that makes the player work for it. I believe Bowden is that kind of coach.
