Aggie68
Aggie fan here. I just wanted to come over and congratulate you guys on a great win. Your team looked stout, and you should be proud of the way your boys played. I was at the game, and could tell right from the get go that your team was fired up, and excited to be playing in a bowl game. Your team reminds me of the Aggie team that played in the Idaho potato bowl back in 2012. We won that game, and that was the beginning of an upward projection for our program after literally decades of horrible football. I really hope that the same will happen for your team there at Akron. This may seem funny to say, but losing to a team that has worked so hard for a bowl win and come so far, took some of the sting off of our loss.Once again, congratulations on your first bowl win!!
Jrship35
AggieThanks for the post ... hated to see it for Chuckie Keeton. Was a good game and it looks like you guys have some positive building blocks for next year. We certainly hope that this is indeed a start of the same kind of upward progress that Utah State has seen. Again, thanks for the post and Zip Nation wishes Utah State nothing but continued success !! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to the Aggie Nation !!!! johnnyzip84
Thanks for the kind words, Aggie68 It takes certain admirable characteristics (persistence, patience, loyalty, compassion, etc) from folks like you to stick with their teams during long periods with relatively little success. Obviously we have a few of those type of fans here as well and it's nice to receive encouragement from someone who has "been there". I hope 2015 was just a speed bump for the Aggies and the future is filled with MWC crowns and a few victories over the Utes and Cougars to boot! Thanks for stopping by Edited December 23, 2015 by johnnyzip84

Thanks for taking the time to post and best of luck next year. The Aggies are a team I'd love to see on our schedule down the road for a home & home. And let me say, if Akron were to be anywhere close to the success of the 2012-2014 Utah State Aggies (30 wins), I think Zipsnation will be a VERY happy place.
