TennZip
top drawer soccer has a premium article this week...where they touch on 17 players that should be drafted after next year's season. They listed several from Wake Forest, UCSB, and UCLA. One zip was listed and this outstanding student athlete is quite deserving of their praise. I think many on this board are huge Victor Souto fans as Victor is a true team player that does so many important things that just help the zips win. Top Drawer has some very nice words about our favorite holding midfielder. http://www.topdrawersoccer.com/college-soccer-articles/seventeen-mls-draft-prospects-for-2017_aid38732One of the keys to Akron’s return to the College Cup in 2015 was Souto. While smaller, technical players like Adam Najem and Richie Laryea orchestrated the Zips’ possession game, Souto sits in front of his back line, protecting the defense and breaking up opposition attacks. The Brazilian is no slouch himself, as he’s capable on the ball and offers enough in central midfield that MLS teams should take a long look at him regardless of his international status.
