Captain,A little clarification if you please. Is he being recruited for track or football or both? I don't see him on Scouts or Rivals. Thanks for the heads up.
He was at the Rubber Bowl for the Akron NTSU game, so I think it is safe to assume he is a football recruit.FYI: Place your informational faith regarding Zips recruiting in this priority:1.) ZipsNation2.) Pittsburgh Trib/Post Gazzette & Ohio Varsity3.) Scout/Rivals4.) OthersDo this and you can't go wrong. :D

What... no ABJ?
Yeah, why no ABJ? I mean, they can cover a football team halfway down the state over the local one, maybe it's a matter of distance. I think the ABJ should be able to cover recruits from out of the area?

That's exactly why I asked here and not at Ohio.com :thumb: ZipsNation has the ABJ up against the ropes. It's a left, a right, another left, the rope-a-dope isn't working, and the ABJ goes down (Freudian slip).

I asked the BJ's reporter why their paper doesn't cover college football recruiting. He responded that they do a great report on local schools' recruits just after the national letter of intent day. "No", I said to him -- "Why can't you report on players BEFORE the signing date". "BEFORE the signing date?", he remarked. "What're we supposed to have, a crystal ball?"

I have talked with Aeric. He was at our junior day in February, held at Akron and then I saw him again at Akron's camp. The kid can definitely fly.He worked out with the wide receivers, and his inexperience showed. I'll be interested to see how things work out for him this year. He's got the one thing you can't coach...and that's the speed. If he can become a runner instead of a sprinter, or he can develop the pass catching skills necessary..he'll be a real sleeper for someone.
