does anyone know the status of injured players mike schepp and clarence mcpherson, both of whom were on crutches in the second half of the cincinnati game? also, i noticed a cyrptic post on the board of crouch and pace being suspended for the cincy game. does anyone know their future status?

Crouch quit the team earlier this week after being told be would be splitting time @ Cinci with Kemme. A couple days later he asked to re-join the team. He's suspended. Will he play again? It is probably up to him, but I'm guessing he's out at least one more game.Pace was suspended for a similar reason. He "reacted poorly" to an announcement that he lost his starting job. Return status is still unknown.

They shouldn't be mad, if they were performing they wouldn't have lost their position or spliting time. What poor sports. Personally i wouldn't want them back if they will quit on you about spliting time they will quit on you in the game.

There's still a bunch of rumor and hype around Crouch, but Pace was suspended for failing a school-issued drug test.

bad week for crouch then. his mom's house in dayton burnt down too, from what i hear.

Crouch was suspended last week because of his actions during the Can't game. He got pulled and didn't like it. He came to the sideline and basically acted like a child. He threw a tantrum and yelled at the coaches instead of adressing the situation after the game in the coaches office like an adult. The coaches told him Kemme was going to be starting the Cincy game because of his actions. He didn't like that either, so he went into the coaches office and proceeded to cut loose again. They suspended him. He was only out for a week, so he will be playing in the Miami game.

If Crouch put as much effort into keeping opposing defenses out of our backfield as he does into reaming the coaching staff when he gets pulled, we might not be 2-4 right now.

Just from a discipline standpoint, I'm shocked at these revelations. It should never have been allowed to reach this level of distraction. Team leaders don't behave this way.Barney Fife knew how to handle these situations. "Nip it Andy, nip it in the bud"

gee, i wonder why the o-line sucks with leadership like this. i've always heard crouch is a great kid off the field but a selfish act like this along with numerous personal fouls and tantrums on the sidelines makes me wonder.

Maybe if Crouch played a little, I mean alot, better, he wouldn't have to worry about playing time.I don't understand splitting time with Kemme though. kemme already was a starter.

splitting time as in moving kemme over from the right side to the left and putting schepp in at right tackle. seems to me like a good move. the only time they move the ball well is when crouch is out and kemme is on the left side.
