We will need to win two tough matches on hostile soil just to get in the tourney.  Probably at WV.  There will be no at-large invite from the MAC.  I am not so hopeful. 

 

We are fortunate that MAC tourney rules changed this year so that all are invited.  Using last year's rules, we would have nothing left to play for this season.  We would effectively be done; bench all the seniors.

I could not tell who turned over because the camera work was so shoddy.  But I will say these two things:  1.  We pass back to the GK waaay too much.  Teams are totally sitting on that pass.  2.  I really miss Niko De Vera playing LB.

Don’t believe so...since they joined the MAC only us and WMU have hosted, I believe....

I saw the format. But do not remember it. If the Zips finish 5th or 6th: 1st round, then semi's then final

I think 1 and 2 get byes, 1 hosts semis and final.  3 plays 6 at home, 4 plays 5 at home.  1 plays winner of 4-5, 2plays winner of 3-6.  I think....

All three matches at host's site?  Or does #5 seed host the play-in match?  Should I even care?

Our effort and play is unacceptable. We lost too many 50-50 battles, passed the ball poorly and didn't support play well. I have to find a way to get the team to be more consistent, we are capable of better."
