Akron1
I have Browns tickets and am a little frustrated at this start time. The U. should never complain about attendance again when they schedule games during a Browns game that most sports fans will want to watch. I sure there is a logical reason and would love to hear it. I am a season ticket holder Basketball and I always hate missing a game. Go Zips!
MRasor0200
I still haven't heard that logical reason.
Bleacher Bum
Maybe they thought we were gonna beat UALR and Texas Tech and we would be in Missouri getting ready for our game against Marquette.
Captain Kangaroo
It's only a scrimmage vs. Tiffin. If it were a "real" opponent, then it would suck.
ziptrumpet87
The odd thing is it is listed on the schedule magnets and season ticket brochures as a 7:00 game, so there has to be a reason it was changed to 2:00.
GoZips88
It's also a full-price scrimmage! Kinda like making Browns season ticket holders purchase pre-season tickets - it sucks. Not happy about the 2PM start and will be watching the Browns (and Charlie Frye) instead.
Valpo Zip
I think that the only explanation to the time change is that the people in the AD don't want us to be there in the game. First of all, you see a horrible football schedule that sucks, plain and simple. you go blame it on the MAC who hate us and on Mike thomas who screwed us up before he left. After that, you see the stupid BBall schedule, where you only play a single (probable and stupid) home game before Dec. 9th so you blame it on the other teams who are scared to come play us at home.To top it all, the only home game in the first 5 weeks of the schedule (even though a horrible game) but you still feel that you want to be there to see your team but the AD screws you again... WTF ! the geniuses in the AD do not give any reason for the change and do not even care to hear the fans. What is the next thing going to be ? schedule games at midnight ? or may be new years eve ?I know that none of the AD people come here or care to know what the fans think but maybe someone can deliver this message:Mack Rhodes, Hunter Yurachek (sp):you don't want us to be there ! fine, we won't... zippyrifle32
maybe they just figured that it would be easier for people to come in the afternoon. like more family friendly.
