scheduling question from an Indiana fan

Are we confirmed on your schedule 2 come to the Rubber Bowl next season?? There are rumors here that we get 8 home games and Coach Hep confirmed that on the b-ball halftime show during the Charlotte game. (In the Big 10 you get 4 home and 4 away every year so we would have to have 4 non-conf home games @ "The Rock.")Good luck next season... except for the IU gameChris I like the KentState sucks lol

As far as I have heard, Indiana is coming to the Rubber Bowl next season. But I have not heard that anything was "confirmed."

Our coach said this week that the schedule hopes to be finalized around the end of January. I have not heard that IU is not on the schedule but that does not mean they are still here. I hope that you guys are still coming. I am excited about hosting a Big10 team.

Curious question...my guess is they'd have too. Look at the way KentState drew for Minnesota.

thanks, It will probably sell out when we come. Ball St was above capasity this year and so was Central Michigan 2 years ago. Great Atmospheres for both. I'm looking foward to making the trip.Beat Kentucky and Ohio St. for us.

The Can't State-Minnesota game only drew 20k...ATTENDANCE: 20,126source (ESPN statsWith our "marketing", this year's collapse, and the potential whooping we may take at Univ. of Columbus earlier in the season, we may not draw much better than that either. With the end zone closed, I guess that would count as a "sell-out". On the other hand, it is a team that the community knows who they are.

The reason that section is closed is because it is unsafe... there is an underground river that eats away at the foundation... every few years they have to pour a million dollars of concrete under there to shore it up. With attendance what it is and a new stadium in the plans, UA will not throw more $$$ "up the river."

I applaud and appreciate the administration not sinking (literally) any more money into the Bowl.I knew they had damage problems a few years ago when they closed the portion of that one section of the closed end.I didn't know it affected the whole darn side of the stadium.We need this new place bad...the bowl is an embarrassment in its current condition.
