good video i liked it. It's pretty cool to get the feature in SLAM magazine (last year) and get videos made about the Zips because of the LeBron connection. as much as it is said that the zips should be front and center this is a great way to connect the Zips with mainstream college basketball. anytime you can have such a big superstar involved with your operations it's a plus.

I couldn't agree less. While I will certainly miss Dru and Rome once the season ends, I will not miss the ridiculous banter and press about the Zips connection with LeBron. Sure, Dru, Rome and KD will always have a connection, the Zips however do not. The only reason he comes around is because of those guys, not the Zips basketball program. If KD were to leave, you would never see Lebron at a game again and he certainly isn't involved in their operations...Now I see that Luckeye land has Lebron's Nike logo on their jersey--so much for his exclusive love for the Zips. Get over it, there is none.

I believe we have a consensus. Lets build our own legacy. I still root for Lebron when it comes to the cavs, but other than that I can care less what his interests and affiliations are with.

Hopefully the LeBron - OSU jersey connection was more of a Nike move than a LeBron move. I think we should be trying to get all the free pub we can. I hope KD keeps close ties w/ LeBron after Rome & Dru graduate (actually, I wouldn't be surprised to see Dru as an assistant coach in a year or two). But speaking of those Nike/LeBron uni's... how soon till we're out of our contract with Adidas? We need to sign with Nike, have LeBron design our shoes and uni's, and then have Nike contribute BIG for the new LeBron-influenced NikeArena in downtown!!! (I'm not joking.)

If the Zips would go with Nike, LBJ might be able to wear Nike Zips hats during interviews occassionally. If the kids see that LeBron likes the Zips, the Zips will be the coolest thing since... well, since LeBron!!!

I do remember seeing the Nike store in the new stadium information and wondered the same thing... are they planning on jumping on the Nike boat?

it was great to see LeBron at the game last night... jumping up and down, cheering for the zips an gettin the Cant fans all rowled up, I Loved it.
