Captain Kangaroo
Dials goes for career scoring highs in consecutive road games. Is it because he's getting the looks that used to go to Linhart? Whatever the reason is.... Couldn't be happening at a better time.
zip37
Maybe full recovery and in good condition-- me thinks so.With ball ammunition lock and load and, of course,
skip-zip
I simply think he's being asked to be more aggressive offensively. He's been pretty unselfish all season, and we need his points now.
Valpo Zip
More self confidence... He understands that after few games, Rome and Dru will be gone and he will be the go-to guy.
Quickzips
I've been thinking about this. Is Linharts injury a blessing in disguise?Think about it:-I heard on the pregame show last night that the team is "optimistic" that Nate will be back for the tournament.-Rybak has emerged as a surprisingly competent option.-Conyers seemed to be doing a lot better with the extra minutes at Buffalo. Especially on the offensive boards.-Dials getting more looks and knocking them down like noones business. So now going into the Tourney we could, potentially, have more competent depth in Rybak and Conyers, Dials with a hot hand AND Nate back. hoopla
regardless what the reason is, he is playing like a first teammer for sure. i think that he just took a back seat for the better for the team. just think with him, rome, dru, wood, ced, nate all going for points? dials is more than capable of putting points on the board. against big time programs he seems to show that best. Miss St., Clemson, Cal, Louisville, Temple, Duquesne (SEC, Pac10, A10, BigEast) he had excellent games. Not to mention the 15 point game he had at OSU against Bob Knight as a frosh. i think zip37 thoughts could be accurate as well. think about it...Carson Palmer got all that attention for getting back in 7months. Dials did it in 3months. When i think about it, it is just unreal. i think he needed time to recover. if he keeps working i cant wait to see him next season. and i am sure he will with his well known work ethic, attitude, and toughness. nickname for dials??? The Warrior.
hoopla
found this interview with dials. it is a pretty good interview. if you enter the site there is also a mini interview with romeo. more publicity for the zips. somebody should interview dials for this site as well as other zips.http://s3.excoboard.com/exco/thread.php?fo...&threadid=30776
