Why would you not want to go to the Winking Lizard? God forbid we actually support an establishment that supports our team. The party should be at the Winking Lizard. We complain on this board about coverage, sponsorship, attendance etc. Then you suggest we party somewhere that doesn't support the Zips versus the one bar that does support the Zips. That's smart -- run off one of our only sponsors by telling them to F-off we'll party somewhere else. You can't be serious.

The one on Huron has nothing to do with the one in Fairlawn. That particular one is not very consumer friendly when it's crowded.Hey, if that's where it is...far be it from me..I just haven't heard any consensus. Is that where it is? If so, I'm there. I'd like to meet some of you in person.

Isn't the Winking Lizard usually packed on a consistent basis during MAC Tournament time? You'd think it would be since it's so close in proximity to the Q.
Yes it is...just try getting a cold one in under a half hour when it's like that. There are many, many watering holes within a block or two of the Q.

We got food and some great, cheap beers at the Boneyard last year. It's right next to the Lizard. Not a long walk if the Lizard is too packed. I like at least checking out the Lizard because it is typically packed with MAC fans. It is a great atmosphere...and the beer selection is awesome too.

Just about every place around Gateway is packed with MAC fans.Yes, the Boneyard...a very extensive selection of draft beers..an entire wall of taps....food is fried stuff in plastic baskets though.
