lovezips Posted April 7, 2007 Report Posted April 7, 2007 I haerd from some people that watched practice and they said Sean is looking very good.Is there a chnce with the injuries he can move into the #1 spot? Quote
MRasor0200 Posted April 7, 2007 Report Posted April 7, 2007 He definitely has the coaches' eyes now that both CJs are injured.I don't think he's capable of starting yet, as in this spring. He still needs to learn to read defenses better. That could improve by the fall. Quote
Zip_ME87 Posted April 7, 2007 Report Posted April 7, 2007 I met Sean and talked with him for quite awhile at last April's (2006) football Open House at the Field House. He seemed very dedicated to winning at UA and happy with his decision to come to here. I don't know if he's ready yet, but I sure hope he gets a chance. He certainly has the right attitude. I look forward to seeing him in the Spring game on the 15th.Since he was born in Dublin, OH, he might also have a little extra incentive to kick some Buckeye butt. Quote
RACER Posted April 8, 2007 Report Posted April 8, 2007 luckily we open with army.im not saying it's going to be an easy game, but a winnable game. it will give the ol,and qb some time to work things out. Quote
skip-zip Posted April 9, 2007 Report Posted April 9, 2007 Army beat us 20-0 two years ago. And that was our MAC championship season. It better not be a repeat performance. Quote
AZipsCrazy Posted April 9, 2007 Report Posted April 9, 2007 I think this team is as good or better than the teams we've put on the field for the past 2 seasons. Yea the QB's are gonna be young but they're better than Fluke Getsy. It's not like they can play worse than he did against Army, and if they do we are in some serious trouble! Quote
