Zips fan Posted April 15, 2007 Report Posted April 15, 2007 That is a great article! I hope things go well for Andy on draft day! Quote
Zip_ME87 Posted April 15, 2007 Report Posted April 15, 2007 Thanks for posting that. Best wishes for Andy. Quote
Z.I.P. Posted April 16, 2007 Report Posted April 16, 2007 Congratulations to the new Dr Alleman! And to the soon-to-be first day draft choice Alleman. I wonder if they'll have an Andy Alleman day in Greentown and Aultman. :DBTW -- I really loved his history of Ohio pro football. Anybody know any books on this subject? I only found out after his death, that my grandad (the one who took me to get my hair cut at the OddFellows Hall in Greentown), was a guard on the 1919 Akron Pros, NFL champions. Isn't that something. Greentown, Ohio the OG capital of NEO. Quote

We used to get our hair cut at Skip's Barbershop (The oddfellow hall) too, that's literally one block from our parent's house. Greentown is the OG capital of NEO (should get a sign put up at the township line). Quote
Sergeant Zip Posted April 18, 2007 Report Posted April 18, 2007 Anybody know any books on this subject? The Massillon Tigers Story: The First Hundred YearsI own the book but haven't found time to read it. It covers 1894 to 1993. Lots of detail, some pictures, 256 pages long. Quote
