skip-zip
That had to be funny seeing Florida Atlantic playing their home games in Dolphins Stadium. I just hope people don't get the same humor out of the Zips playing Army at Browns Stadium.
Captain Kangaroo
I just hope people don't get the same humor out of the Zips playing Army at Browns Stadium. If we played there every week, with the status of our program as it is today, Browns Stadium would be pretty cavernous.Since this is a once-every-5-year-event, it will be pretty special and I'm sure it will be moderately well-attended. I'll guess 30k. The city of Cleveland has a vested interest in the thing being successful. And promotions will be a-plenty.People were really pessimistic that the MAC Hoops Tourney would draw anything but flies to the Gund/Q when it moved from Toledo's Seagate Center. By all accounts the move was a huge success for all involved. I think the Patriot Game has a chance to be similarly successful, assuming people put forth the necessary effort to make it so. And I think they will.
Z-P
I agree with CK...............I think the Stadium game, along with the date and all that is going on around it will carry us to 30K.............it's going to be a nice weekend (unless we crap out against them like last time)
akronad
Unfortunately, I have to disagree to some extent. Remember, the air show is going during the day & the Tribe plays the WSox that nite in a game that could & should have play-off implications. I don't see the game drawing anymore than 20k, with about 10k of those tickets being give aways from First Merit, the Corporate sponsor. The good news for me is that my wife and I will be making the trek to Clev. to see the game. My niece was suppose to get married that day, but she cancelled the wedding last nite. The gods must be watching over me.
