Special Spectators and the Zips Athletic Department have also hosted kids from Akron Children's Hospital at football games the past three seasons and we created a game day event at the 2005 Motor City Bowl for youngsters from the Children's Hospital of Michigan thanks to the Akron Athletic Department and the Levy Restaurant operations at Ford Field.All the best and we hope to see you at a game!Blake RockwellExecutive DirectorSpecial Spectators706 W. Since 2002, Special Spectators has created the quintessential Saturday experience complete with tailgate parties, mascots, cheerleaders and marching bands for approximately 3,800 children and parents. Over the last five years,we've hosted about 110 game day events that provide these kids with special access to people and areas of the stadium that are not accessible to most fans. Our youngsters tour locker rooms, meet coaches and walk on the field during a time out.
