Well, when you lose you get no respect. Our school is the butt of all jokes in college football as well as the MAC for that matter. The players don't seem to realize that.

Someone from the Virginia board sent me a message regarding that column. He stated the Virginia fans on The Sabre were pretty embarassed and angry about it. They should be...is was pretty bush-league. It appears like that's their college paper, so it is somewhat expected...21 year olds write some stupid stuff.

The author was Sean McLernon. I think Sean will have a tough time choosing from the PD or The Beacon upon his graduation.

I bet if anybody asked Coach Groh of Virginia he would have loved to have Charlie as his QB for 4 years.

And as far as the Zips being the butts of jokes.......My friends it will not stop until the Zips start to win and continue to win for a few years. Lets start winning tonight.

Although it is a joke, there is some thruth to it.

Frye has 0 chance of winning the Heisman.

He had a slim chance just bing from UA.

Combine that with the season so far, he has 0 chance.

He is a good QB, but he isn't the future All Pro some of you think he will be.

He is a good college QB, whom will probably be somewhat successful int he NFL.

WE rarely in 4 seasons have seen him throw downfield consistently.

BZ, that was not a joke. It wasn't even tongue in cheek. It was a direct, full-fledged, poor sportsmanship, after they kicked our butts slam.

I can see why the posters on their board are embarrassed. Wow. What a brat. He better be a freshman or sophomore or else he's an idiot as well: Charlie lit up the field at Virginia just two short seasons ago....as a sophomore to boot.

What a fine representative of the Virginia students. I don't care what his SAT was - they can have him.

Well, I for one was appalled by that article...And yes, as a regular on the uva message boards can say most people on there feel the same way...And yes, that is the college paper where some little punk is trying to get some laughs. We know Frye is a good qb, and hell, I know its early, but Mel Kiper has him listed as the number 10 pick in the draft....thats impressive...Please dont judge uva fans based on some little punk's childish article. Obviously he doesnt know too much about college football.
