Heres a quick story that I thought a few of you might enjoy.I was walking outside of my house today in my small home town of Fredericksburg OH (a small amish town just outside of Wooster) and I saw a pepsi truck drive by my house. WITH A HUGE FEAR THE ROO SIGN ON THE BACK!! now this isn't gonna cause any sell outs in the good ole Rubber Bowl but now mayb we will see a few buggys in the tailgating lot :tomato:

Actually I had noticed the same thing on all the pepsi trucks I've been seeing lately. Considering UA does have a Wayne campus, it kind of makes sense I suppose to advertise in Fredricksburg, since that same truck delivers all over that county probably.UA adverts have also gone up along 77 N and S over by Copley Road- big light up billboard.Anyone know of any other places?

and I got a call at lunch from a telemarketer offering Alumni the $100.00 Family Pack Season Ticket Package.. that's a first!!!
Same here. I think they gave infocision the list of season ticket holders.

Having Infocision make calls about UA is a huge marketing tool. One that should be used more often. They should call NE Ohio high school seniors with a survey about choosing UA. They should call sports fans about the football and basketball team. UA really needs to get a massive contract with them to call people everywhere about all sorts of UA stuff. It only makes sense, considering how apparently close UA is to the company.

I don't know. I really dislike telemarketers calling...I wouldn't want the community to become annoyed by this. If we're offering deep-discount tickets/packages I guess it would be worth it. I wish they could do Zips-minute spots on the radio with brief replays, player/coach comments, a little info on the next opponent, things to give the public a little knowledge of the team and get them interested and not just "Hey everybody, go to the Zips game...pleeeeze?!"

As much as people dislike telemarketing it is a proven way to effectively and efficiently get a mass sales campaign completed.
