FYI to UAM: To replay the coaches show sometime...even before the Saturday football game(?) would rule. Or, to be able to listen to a replay from GoZips.com would rule too. Quote

JD reviewed Buffalo win...then Mike Thomas talked about on Campus stadium... nothing we haven't already read or heard. Only in study phase but -- he kept indicating they are looking at funding -- which means they have a design and desire -- they need the funding to fall in line next. Said it makes no sense to spend the $60 million to upgrade the Rubber Bowl when we can build a brand new, modern stadium on campus. He said it was all part of the strategic plan/review he initiated 5 years ago when he came to Akron.. He actually said that no one had done this before he arrived -- actually evaluated the facilities and created a plan. Football is not the only area they are looking at... he indicates all sports needed attention... Previewed UCF... normal stuff... control the game with running, keep pressure off Charlie. His finger still hurts. Defense nneds to control running game... No turnovers and special teams.... Making progress... need to continue to improve -- kids are great .. effort is there......etc etc .. Sound Familiar??? Just like every other football coach interview you've ever heard.... Quote
