I see that ugly ass end zone tarped off! The score is 14-7 Can't winning, and Can't student section laughing holding up a piece of our bleachers! Damn I am so pissed right now. This just looks bad, we need that new stadium yesterday!!!!

I asked them to never play an Akron game again -- this game was supposed to be on ESPN Regional and we would have seen the whole thing if they would have just not put it on our local ABC affiliate.

When Akron played OSU, the lady on Channel 5 news said, "The Bucks get off to a slow start but fortunately made things happen in the second half to win."

If Akron/Canton News was on during the weekends, we wouldn't have to resort to these crappy news startions. Channel 3 news is the best one from Cleveland and gives Akron more coverage than any other channel.

I sent a reply back to him after that all caps reply from him. Pretty much said what I said earlier. The only reason they have MAC games on is because the Big 10 Network is coopting the OSU games. As soon as they get the chance to drop us in favor of OSU they do. It's nice to see where their true loyalty lies.His response was so incoherent it didn't even warrant another reply. Started ranting about ESPN+ and a bunch of other stuff that was totally irrelevant to what I was talking about.

I am from Columbus and I talked with my Mom and Uncle and Family members from down there they got to watch every single minute of the game no interuptions no swtiching to the com-blow-us team or anything. they are Zips fans because of me and they are happy to see the Zips pulled it out at the end. So even Columbus, shows more of Akron and Cant then Northeast Ohio does. I am truly P.O. On that note. Its 11:49 and Can't State is with out the Wagon Wheel and they can't read or write so that means they SUCKCan't Statecks!!!

You really need to look at it from the stations point of view.If they are running a show that is getting bad ratings, they cancel the show. Sure there are some people that like that show and are upset, but there isn't enough of them to keep the show on.If you were the station and had no affiliation to either program and yourj ob was to make the most money from advertisers, would you show the Akron game and tick off 250,000 OSU fans or show the OSU game and tick off 25000 Akron fans?Now, I don't know what happened on TV. If you are saying that they cut away from the Akron game at the end to merely show the OSU/NW pregame, then I agree, that's BS.

Here is another way the station may have looking at it. It's actually more reasonable than what you presented.The Big Ten sucks and a game between OSU and NW is a pointless excercise. Since there are so many idiots stupid enough to center their Saturday afternoon around watching this stupidity, they had better get the first five minutes on before the blowout takes place and everyone turns their TV off.There is absolutely no excuse for the station turning off what was a great game for a meaningless game.
