Let'sGoZips94
Did Akron beat Penn State? I wasn't there because I was super tired and had to get caught up on some stuff.
ZachTheZip
Akron won 3-0. We absolutely dominated them. A pleasant side-effect of the game was that Zips fans had a chance to regroup after saturday's fiasco. They traded Zippy-voting techniques and re-affirmed amongst themselves that all was not lost. Watching the Soccer team beat the crap out of a Big 10 school was very therapeutic. It should help with our rankings, too.

The might, might Penn State Lions did not have ONE shot on goal for ninety minutes!!! Zips are Lion slayers, who seemed to play with the little beasts. 900+ minutes and counting of clean goal-keeping sheets! Holy spumoni, that's some defensive calcio Caleb!Clearly this team is creating chemistry, as we had hoped early on, and our own cubs are growing into their new roles on a smaller stage than they had played with US national squads. And the seniors, Ben Zemanski especially, are playing brilliantly (pass the Guinness, master Bradbrook (are you 18 yet?). If we can keep up the momentum, I think we could go deep into the tournament. Knock on plywood.Go Caleb and the Kids.
GoZips88
Did anyone happen to notice whether our midfielders and especially our forwards look to Caleb and the other coaches on the sideline for guidance before going on the attack? Way to go Zips!
