The Bulls are giving a pretty good account of themselves to this point, tied 3-3 into the 2nd quarter on ESPNU. Their offense looks pretty solid, with Starks running hard, Willy making good decisions at QB, Roosevelt looking like a nice WR and special teams playing solidly. The D is where I think they are suspect. Ha....just as I write this, the 'Cuse completes a deep pass. Anyway, should be a good challenge for the Zips next week.BTW, did anyone see Mark May tout Turner Gill (payed QB and served as an assistant with Solich at Nebraska) as a potential candidate for the Husker HC job, once they can Callahan? I know Cap'n must be rolling his eyes at this one! I don't know, though You have to admit that Gill has been the only one able to breethe any life into U at B during their return to Div 1 FB.Bulls just intercepted Orange QB Robinson.

After watching Buffalo at the Rubber Bowl last season, I'm shocked they're playing decent. I would have never seen it coming.Zips off a bye week, and back in the MAC East hunt after the Miami loss to Temple...The Zips will beat Buffalo this week. Tight game...it always is up there...but the Zips rebound, and continue their undefeated record against the Bulls.

If I didn't have to work, I'd travel up to Buffalo for the game. I would have to find my passport first, but that shouldn't be a problem. ;) The Zips should win barring some horrible coaching blunder. If you're going to the game, make sure to get there on Friday before 7:30 and then stay overnight because the Mens Soccer team is playing there in a game to decide control of the MAC. It is a must-win for both teams. In totally unrelated news, did anyone hear that Can't State lost Edelman for the rest of the season because of a broken arm? Both Can't State and Ohio are done for in the East. Akron, Miami, Temple, BGSU, and Buffalo are still very much in it.
