Cody Destro Of Mogadore..

I went to the Mogadore game this past weekend to check out this kid, because i was told that Akron had offered him and he was going to accept. The kid is huge for a RB, i mean "Beanie" Wells size, maybe a little bit bigger ( 6'3 235 LBS) and the kid could run. The team i seen him play against wasent all that good, so im going to follow him in the playoffs and see how he does.

I'm pretty close to the Mogadore football program, and have watched Cody closely through his career. He is a legit 6'3" 235lbs with speed and moves you wouldn't expect from someone his size. This season he has 1451 yards and 24 touchdowns through 9 games. He shares carries in the backfield with 2 other running backs, one of which has 1,000+ yards as well. He recently passed former Mogadore great Chuck Moore for 2nd on the career rushing list.If anyone wants to see him in person, Mogadore is at home this week at 7:30, and will probably be at home in the first round of the playoffs the following Saturday.

If they play McDonald in the 1st round it may be your only chance to see him in the playoffs. If there's anything better than Division 6 Ohio HS Football smack, I don't wanna know it.

Destro is a very good football player. He's an excellent high school RB. With the Zips I see him playing on the defense though, most likely LB or DE. At 6' 3" 235 lbs in high school you know he will only get bigger once he hits the weights and training program at Akron. He doesn't have the speed at RB we need at this level. I hope we get him.
