GP1
Let it go everyone. Four full pages is enough on a meaningless issue.
Dr Z
Maybe we can put this at rest after next sunday? If pittspuke jumps all over DA then we'll know...it's the advantage of an easier schedule. If not, maybe DA is a little better fit for this offense? I truly believe they are quite similar in overall ability. DA stronger arm, less mobility better decision making, Charlie more mobility, weaker arm and mediocre decision making. Wait till sunday. While DA did throw 3 TDs, I'm not sure I would give him an above average grade for yesterdays less than stellar performance (160 yds of O & 6-of-19 passing for 43 yards in the second half.). Interesting how the defense blitzed him early and he had success, they stopped blitzing and dropped into coverage and he seemed confused.Oh well, I bet Charlie enjoyed watching the game yesterday. Go Frye tonight!

Beating Cleveland has almost gotten boring. The most funny thing to watch was a Cleveland team winning 21-9 at half come out and lose a game they clearly should have won because of all the big plays they made. Their body language looked like somehow they knew they were going to lose. The sporting lesson here is that winners win and loser lose.Cleveland still has a good and improving team though. DA may not be perfect, but he makes the Browns a better team as he makes the players around him better. Since the NFL is so bad, the Browns could win nine games with him this year. Why is this thread still alive again?

Go Frye tonight! So he struggled a bit against one of the better defenses in football. Peyton Manning had a horrible game...is he a bad QB?I'm sure Charlie did enjoy it, and probably has plennnnnty of time to watch the Browns...you know, with not having to be on the active roster week after week. Valpo Zip
SGM, i was not planning to take part in this ever-lasting (and useless, might i add) debate. The thing that is bothering me now is that as much as you are trying to look like the sound of reason or the unbiased observer, it seems to me that your only motivation behind this whole topic is pure hatred of Charlie Frye.Honestly, what did the guy do to you?
