From what I understand, Bobby Petrino is going to be announced as the new Saluki coach tomorrow.

Wow, base salary of 350K for a guy that has been a head coach at a Div 1 school yet. Salaries are escalating even down to the MAC level.

Joe Novak did a hell of a job with that program. For several years, his teams (and many of his players) were the poster child for MAC excellence. Did y'all know he's a NE Ohio native?

This is a terrific hire, not only for NIU but also for the MAC in general. Under Kill, I expect the Huskies to win that elusive MAC title in the next couple of seasons.
