I don't know how many of you watched the game yesterday (probably a lot), but Hixson and Blackburn made good contributions to the Giants victory. Hixson especially. Hixson had a runback to around the 50 and Blackburn made a good block for him to gain an extra 10-15 yards. Good job guys!My team is the Steelers and these two would look great in Black and Gold next year. Just about anyone would look good in Black and Gold compared to the effortless dolts they have covering kicks right now and Dom is a better kick returner than anyone they have.Most importantly, another week in the playoffs = more money, more money, more money.

I was flying to Houston yesterday during the "late" game. So, I didn't get to see it. However, the pilot told us shortly before landing that the Giants had won. I'm rooting for the Giants just because of Hixon and Blackburn. I have no ties whatsoever to the other playoff teams. Boston has won enough (and the Celtics are doing well enough) that I don't really care so see the Pats go undefeated. Thanks for posting GP1. I was surprised that no one had posted last night. I did check out the stats last night when I got to my hotel and saw what Hixon and Blackburn had done. Hixon had one tackle, I believe. Was that on special teams?

The thing about Hixon is that if he can't compete for first or second string receiver, he may not be kept around just as a KR, and especially if he has any more fumble problems. I don't know if he's playing coverage on kickoffs/punts but that at least would be a feather in his cap. Or if he could handle emergency DB duties. He should be able to play pro somewhere for a good long while tho.
