its nice to see roger finally has something nice to say about akron....last week there was something about JD's wife having another baby, now this about tommy. he has had some nice things to say about charlie too. maybe people are starting to warm up to the zips?

Keep up the good work Tommy G!

I have been a zips fan for many years. I have put up with and listened to Steve French and Joe Dunn for many years. Over the past few years I have occasionally caught Tommy G doing a women's game and I think he is good and worthy of the praise he got in the paper, even though I did not see it until tonight.

IMO, I think the University should have a younger voice and make the move to have Tommy replace Steve and they should also bring in a true color guy for basketball as they have with Frank Stams on football. How exactly is Joe Dunn qualified to do color? I don't know if this could ever be a reality, just one fans wishes.

Roger Brown is typically a total idiot...but even a broken clock is right twice a day.

The first time I heard Tommy G on ZSN I thought he was from a national broadcast, not an Akron production. He "has what it takes" to go far in his profession.

Joe Dunn...great guy...great Zips supporter...actually a decent sideline guy in football...I'll leave it at that.

Frenchy...I like him...other than the fact that he screws up the names in football too often, and sounds like someone killed his dog if the Zips are behind in a game.

If you don't like the Zips broadcasters, try listenening to Bill Needle do the Can't games. Worst I've ever heard...football or basketball.
