Posted March 10, 2004 Report Share Posted March 10, 2004 It's almost Wednesday morning, and still no word on the Freekin' Urnal website that the University of Akron has reassigned their head basketball coach -- much less that the replacement has been chosen. Will Tammy have a selection from the "Nice Things to Say Today" to offer as a homily to Dan Hipsher? Or will he just update a previous column, replacing each "Coach Owens" with "Coach Hipsher"? Captain Kangaroo Posted March 10, 2004 Report Share Posted March 10, 2004 Trust me on this one: Tammy will use the words "growl" (followed by a metaphor) and "barrel-chested" in his column describing Hipsher. He's done it in every Hipsher column he's ever written. Unlike Owens, Pluto won't be 100% kind to Hipsher. Pluto soured on him a few years ago, after the Andrick incident.
