I like the potential in this guy. I believe this high school is where the Zips recruited Dwight Smith. (Edit: nope, Dwight went to Detroit Central)

Pretty impressive interview. Comes off as humble & focused. Just knowing that the kid listens to Queen and Journey before a game lets you know he's a bit unique.

We got the word from Scout that he had, but we REALLY appreciate the interview and you coming to post here! wave.gif

I'm not sure I like this last answer though:

Oh I didn't even know Scout announced he committed. He told me yesterday he committed, I didn't see Trieu tweet anything about it but I just seen it was way after I was told he committed.

The bright side is though, there is a chance he may not receive offers now that he is committed and he wants to bring his DB, Daquan Pace over to Akron and begin a dynasty. Not sure how much you guys have followed me in the past if any, but I cover Michigan HIgh School Football and Cass Tech the teams these 2 play for is loaded with D1 talent the past several years.

Pace is a player who is under the radar cuz of 2 DB's going D1. Easily a best player on most teams in the country. His recruiting stock isn't exactly high as he has no offers but a good player nonetheless.

But I appreciate you guys posting my article. If you don't mind I have one more on him, when Akron offered him - http://www.thedzone.net/2012/06/cass-techs...ml#.UBf_52GJcwA

He's a great kid btw, introduced himself to me at the Sound Mind Sound Body in June.

I just seen your post and I have to say I agree with you 110%. It's almost an unwritten law; i.e., nobody make a kid an offer after he has already verballed to another school.
