Hopefully, KP16 will be able to play in this one although I'm sure it's way too early to know at this point. Our defense can win a lot of MAC games regardless as long as we don't turn it over. As if the team needs any special incentive, if the Zips can pull out a win over OU it will place UA football in unprecedented territory. Not once, not even in the (current) standard-bearing 1992 season, have the Zips EVER been 5-2 at the D1-A/FBS level. In my opinion, that fact alone puts this whole season and TB's tenure here at UA in proper perspective.

We have other players on the offensive line and I've seen Williams get manhandled before. Scott Boyett is 6'7 315 lbs (3 *) and has not played - why? I think it is a good question.

It was one play. The offense line is about as good as you could reasonably expect considering all that was replaced from last season. The coach is doing the best with what he has to work with. The best he has to work with is a converted DL unfortunately.Converting players from the other side of the ball and starting them should tell you all you need to know about the depth/talent of the unit. Coach can't make him not whiff a block.

Penn State was the last team in the country without a loss that changed today as they went to Maryland Maryland is finally healthy...they beat Penn State 4-0 Maryland has a very good Japanese player...Enzo...and he has missed a lot of games... He played today and made a difference... Ohio State lost 2-1 today to Indiana coming into today's matches...Penn State was 4-0 in the Big ten...and Michigan was 2nd with a 2-1-2 record we all remember Syracuse scoring with 3 seconds left in an exhibition game to edge the zips Syracuse is now 11-1 and just defeated Wake Forest 3-1 on Friday night...Louis Cross started in the game prior to Wake but did not play in the game against Wake there is no dominant team this year. If the zips can keep improving during the year, they can surprise some teams in the ncaa tournament

As an addendum: this community can rally behind this team with no problem. This City(meaning the citizens) needs to to stop playing the Cleveland card(and even the local High School Card) and rally behind this team. That starts with the local media(which is another topic). This was said in another thread: This city(and school) needs people like me that has no connection to the school that will follow no matter what. That what fans are about: You Are the Home Team!

Akronites are pathetic. 4-2 team within walking distance. Can't had an "attendance" of 12k. That's an 0-6 Can't. On a side note: I brought my dad to the game. It was his first Akron game and he really enjoyed it. Enjoyed it enough that he wants to come back! He did comment that the officials were absolutely terrible.

Cody Grice is a beast!!! A sack, 5 tackles, 1 tackle for loss, fumble recovery and a rushing touchdown. LOVE THAT GUY!!!

I don't like that fade call. I'm not sure it has worked for us once this season for whatever reason. Just seems like such a waste of a play.
