  1. All this back and forth is going to confuse the Bobkitten fans. To summarize the discussion to this point for their benefit....... Our first string quarterback has suffered either a head quadricep injury or an ankle MCL tear. His backup will be lucky to throw the ball within 10 feet of our receivers, and you don't even need to cover one of our receivers because he is so tiny he should be working in a circus. We don't stand a chance against you guys. Please be merciful..

  2. Also from the article: When Bowden took the Akron job, there were rumors that he was going to only stay a few years, win some games -- and then leave for something better. "I heard that," he said. Then he started to laugh. "You know what happened to the last five coaches before me?" he asked. "They got fired. How about we start to win and stay? How about we just worry about starting to win some games."

  3. Wake Forest needs to start winning some ACC matches. Akron's loss to a team with an RPI of 60 does not help Akron. #1 Indiana's one loss is to Penn State so a win in Happy Valley in November would be great for the zips. Seeing Indiana at #1 made me think of their Akron transfers (Matt Foldesey and Phil Fives). Foldesey started against Louisville and Ohio State. Phil Fives did not see action in either of their last 2 games

  6. Excellent work, once again - the MTB shot in the end zone shows he was a lot closer to making a spectacular TD than I realized watching it live.
