Speakers will include University of Akron basketball coach Keith Dambrot (who coached James at St. V-M) and James’ former high school teammate Willie McGee, who now serves as athletic director at the school. The free party will take place at Lock 3 in downtown Akron. Doors will open at 7 p.m., and the program is slated to begin about 8 p.m.
Parking will be free at city and county parking lots and decks. About 7,000 spots will be available at the following locations:
