  2. Gilbert is headed to Bethune-Cookman he was wearing their shirt the other day and Hunter Corne talked to him to see what was up. He has put back on some weight since the season ended. Hunter Corne also receive a 2nd home visit Wed from Coach Eekken to cross the T's and dot the I's. Hunter has had late push from FAU and FIU but told them he was not interested. He has been committed since July and told them he will not go back on his word. The High school signing is at 4pm that day but he will fax his LOI in early that morning. He will be a Zip no doubt.

  3. As a prelude, watching the CMU/Kan't game. Early in the 2nd half the CBS announcers were talking up Big Dog, Kwan, & rest of Zips. GOTTA LOVE IT! Go Zips! Take it to the Bulls tonight!

  4. I voted Jeremiah Wood. Big, Bad Jeremiah is the most intimidating player the MAC's ever seen. For the younger crowd, the very intimidating Tree Treadwell, to whom no one dared make direct eye contact, would actually be a somewhat distant second to Jeremiah. Jeremiah was the man. Of the ten men out there, he was the undisputed Alpha anytime he set foot on the court. And if we didn't win the game, well, everyone knew who'd win the fight after the game. Lol. I also appreciated the fact that Jeremiah was extremely polished offensively with all kinds of moves down low, could put the ball on the floor & could also hit jump shots, even threes; almost impossible to guard. You could also run the offense through him, much like Dog, as Wood was an excellent passer. He's also the best rebounder I've ever seen don the blue & gold. Jeremiah was only 6-7, but had hands the size of dinner plates & at least a 7-foot wingspan. He was strong as a freaking ox and pretty explosive. Ladies and gentlemen, for your consideration, I present The Big Daddy, Jeremiah Wood.

  5. Baylor is a dumpster fire, no doubt. It is so sad that a school strongly affiliated with the Baptist faith tradition has clearly lost it's way. This isn't over yet. It goes far deeper than we realize. Baylor paid a dear price to have success in football. They sold their school's soul to the gods of football celebrity and so-called top 20 recognition. I hope we never sink that low.

  6. Billy Turner, hands down. more of a 4 than a 5 but he was the man back in the day and made his living in the paint

  7. I went with Big Dog by a hair over Zeke, mainly due to motivation. I never had the impression Zeke's heart was in hoops (which is perfectly OK IMO).
