ESPN spent about 2 minutes on the last 10 seconds of the game. More time on ESPN than ever spent on an Akron game.

Good analysis. Sammy was on him most of the night. Sammy not good on defense.

The good, S and S held to 3 of 14 threes. The bad, lost the TO battle 13-5, and points off TOs 16-2. We won the TO battle in each of the first two games, did not expect this. Made the game closer that it should have been. Sammy did not show up but got us here last night.

Zips won TO battle in both in season games. Losing TO battle 7-2 at half. Last night Zips reduced TOs drastically in 2d half. Let's do it again tonight.

Keys No early foul trouble for Freeman Defend the 3. In the 2 games with Kent, Santiago, Sullinger and T. Freeman shot 3s at 55% (15 of 27). Last night, S&S shot at a 73% clip (T. Freeman missed his only attempt). I don't think they can hit 70% again, but that is a key part of their game.

Ohio blows out WM. Wins the TO battle 18-3. Take care of the ball!! Zips win over Ohio in January shot 8/18 3 Pointers (44%). Can't afford another 3/23 (13%) 3 point shooting (like today) against a hot Ohio team.

I thought the 3 point shooting hit rock bottom against JM (5 for 29, 17%) but I was wrong. First half 2 for 15, 13%. UGH

Not a good shooting team. Going to haveto win with defense.

I thought we’d lose by 12. I was close. Lots of shooters, not enough makers. Love that we could play this game. Practices will be brutal this week. Lots of mistakes but 5 for 29 3's jumps out. And most 3 point shots were not contested. Not sure how a brutal practice helps this.

Improvement needed Ohio leads Offensive rebounds 7-0 and second chance points 8-0.

Recently, Freeman seems to pick up 2 fouls early. That can't happen. His offensive and rebounding capabilities are to valuable to lose. Groce preferred to play 7 against MAC competition, but Aziz may be called on to do more in this one.
