  1. Should be an ass-whooping. We're the better team and if they can stop #12 it should be smooth sailing. I watched Akron play WMU at the JAR. I thought Akron played a sub-par game, however, they still walked away with a win and the team is much improved from early January.
  2. That's the consensus I've arrived at as well. The zips need to win, handily, and keep their positive momentum going. If they can beat BG the way they did, logically, they should be able to roll this team.
  3. Is this Chipps team any good? Their record doesn't indicate so with a loss to Valpariso by 22.

  5. I must give credit where credit is due and (in my opinion) Deng did a hell of a job protecting the bucket tonight!
  6. Damn, shouldn't have left but I couldn't take anymore of that performance.. a win is a win but 18-52 sheesh
  7. Why not put Sayles in?
  8. Or sayles..
  9. Idk.. Pull a tall kid off the football team. I'm sure Deng is good at a lot of things, however, he just looks lost on the court. Maybe play small, if you're getting out rebounded by 21 with your big on the court maybe that's a sign to try something different
  10. I just can't pathom how you can be a division one collegiate athlete and get out rebounded astronomically, have a 29.5 inch basketball go through your hands time after time, and set illegal screens (he can't even stand still right). But yet he still starts.. it's baffling
  11. Lost that game because of Riak
  12. Buffalo has 51 rebounds to our 29
  13. Riak sucks.. it's like he's 12 beers deep every game
  14. who is buffalo's best player? Graves?
  15. 86-78 Zips. I expect UA to pull away late. As a result, they'll pull their starters and get the bench players, some much needed, exposure.
  16. Liberty loses two in a row to North Florida (12-9) and Stetson (10-11, #314 Kenpom)
  17. scored 88 though!
  18. 88-74 Zips
  19. yeah, thats why I raised the question because I thought our side was tougher
  20. interesting.. Thank you. So in basketball the east and west conferences don't really matter, as long as, Akron is in the top four.
  21. How does seeding for the MAC tournament work? Is it premised upon the top four teams get a first round bye or do the top two teams from each division get byes?
  22. According to Ole Kenpom the Zips are rated above Daniel Utomi's mighty USC Trojans.
  23. Akron is up to #58 in the latest Kenpom poll (1/22)
