  1. I will also be at this game. My girlfriend goes to UofM (Ann Arbor) which is approximately 5000 feet away from Ypsi.
  2. According to kenpom our best win was against #155 Marshall. Umass is rated #187.
  3. Tulane is not a very good team. They're on pace to lose to Towson. The zips would have blown them out had they not played lackadaisically in the ten minutes.
  4. Akron moved up to #93 in the newest Kenpom poll while Tulane sits at 218.
  5. It's early but the ESPN "Matchup Predictor" gives us a 70.3% chance to beat Tulane. This is according to ESPN's basketball power index.
  6. I will probably end up skipping this game for obvious reasons
  7. Zips have moved up to 96th in the most recent Kenpom poll. Only MAC team ahead of us is Toledo. In addition, Mikal Dawson may get to play this year? If so we may jump to MAC favorites.
  8. Here's the link, however, streaming will be not be available until the 7pm tipoff. https://www.reddit.com/r/ncaaBBallStreams/comments/e67o18/game_thread_marshall_vs_akron_0700_pm_est/
  9. Yeah I will as we get closer to tip-off
  10. Yeah, I do trust reddit. I have never had any adverse problems. Some streams are better than others, however, it's a free service and usually the best way to watch The Zips because ESPN plus, 3, or whatever the heck its called tends to be slow and laggy.
  11. It'l be streamed on reddit for the low price of free
  12. game will also be free on reditt.
  13. Akron did a hell of a job last night. I'd be curious to see how much $ they made off of concessions alone. The line I was in had approximately 20-25 people in it waiting to get their hot chocolate. Also, I wonder what the attendance was. I would guess between 15k-20k but, then again, I'm horrible at guessing things like that. Go Tigers beat Avon.
  14. Yeah you're right they sell for $15 at zips.com but when you take a family say 1 kid and two parents you're looking at $45 to sit in bleachers. I think, personally, that's a little steep. I also think they should cram everyone into the lower section of seating creating a much louder and better game experience for the players and fans.
  15. I understand that but the average fan looking for something to do on a Thursday night while checking the world's most popular sporting app and seeing "tickets as low as $52" may deter them from going to a game. Only the most serious fans buy bundles.
  16. "Tickets as low as $52"
  17. Yes, welcome. Looks like I am no longer the rookie (woot woot). I'll be at the game tonight watching Akron dismantle "little brother" my prediction is Akron by 20.
  18. I think there will be approximately 25k fans in attendance. I think Massillon will bring about 18k and Hoban will bring 5k. The remainder of fans will be locals looking to see two of the state's best go head to head. In terms of a prediction I have it 24-7 Massillon (mainly due to Hoban not being at full strength). Also, does anyone know why Massillon is the home team yet they're sitting on the East side of the stadium? Does this also mean they will use the away locker-rooms and Hoban's band will take the field pregame?? How about you? what is your prediction in terms of attendance and outcome?
  19. Can't get away with that in grad school and still pass.
  20. Well, judging by the score and not actually watching the game, the zips look to be back on track with a decisive 31 point win.
