  3. One of the best posting sessions in a long time. Look for Getsy to play all of the first half and into the third, but I would not be surprised to see Feguson out there for a few series. A real game is a lot different from preseason scrimmages, like someone else said: Getsy could be a gamer. I am just glad sports are back. This summer seems like it has taken forever. Go Zips! (insert the steam whistle here)

  5. Great job Zips! As an alum of the program I will be there rooting you on in person and in spirit. . . .In 1996 we snuckinto the tournament on the last weekend and pulled off a MAC Championship. You can do the same. GO ZIPS!!!!!
  6. Dear KD and the boys, I know it hurts now, but we are all proud of the way you played all year long. Who would of thought that at the beginning of the year we would have 19 wins and a trip to the Gund? Not many Zips fans. Especially after Wood went down. If we don't get a shot at the NIT, take a few days off, enjoy your spring break and then get back in the gym and keep working your butts off. Thanks for laying a good foundation for the future. Go Zips!
  7. King Zip is representing negative trash on this board. Don't recycle!!! Let's get some positive energy going for the Zips! KD and the boys know it is time to shine. We have a great draw in the tournament. Get out, get your tickets and let's go to the game. I will be there in my blue and gold will you?
  8. my impressions of the cheerleaders and fans at the game. Our radio crew is so much better then Needle at Can't State. The court looks so much better now and is nicer on TV and no dirty footprints showing on the sidelines after the fans walk in.
  9. Just reposting from the other day: think when it comes to rebounding more teams are focusing on Romeo so don't give him to hard of a time on the rebounds. On Saturday we were just never in position and when we were we just were not aggressive enough. I am tired of seeing Futch go up for a rebound with one arm. The dude is huge and needs to get tough on the block. True basketball basics two hands to catch the ball . . . we are not on the black top. Romeo has a great turn around jump shot. On Saturday he kept going to his left, I would love to seem him use a quick step to his right and go around the defender. After watching the TIVO of the game I thought he could of had some easy shots. can not wait to play Can't at the Gund. Love the way the Zips are playing . . .surpassed all of my expectations. GO ZIPS!

  11. First off . . .Long time reader. Occassional poster. Great Job guys! Let's get in the time machine and ask the question that is on a lot of college football fans minds: If you were OSU and Jim Tressel if you knew then what you know about Maurice "Can your Momma buy me a cell phone?" Clarrett, would you still have recruited and signed him? Remember this give you a coveted national title. Or Would you leave him back in Y'town and protect your image and still be a top 10 program, have lots of donor money and have the media on your side? If it was me, and I was at OSU I think I would pick option 2. I am still going to get paid. The program is still going to be successful and every year I am playing for a national title with no scrutiny or corruption. Now, if this were to happen in Zipsland (or any mid-major) would you take the chance if it meant you could win a national title and have a very reconizable national program for years to come with lots of increases in alumni support? I believe almost any mid-major would take that chance. Good night everybody you've been great.
