Thanks zipboy. People usually do not realize how much goes into these articles, but Dan knows his MAC basketball; especially the East. Some BG guy said we should "stick to football" b/c some marginal BG guy was left off the all-VanDelay 2nd team. What do you expect out of a Falcon fan I guess...

I am happy to tell you all that www.vandelaysports.com has posted the first part of our MAC Basketball Preview. Dan Whitmyer, who has written for CollegeHoops.net in the past, has compiled an extremely thorough evaluation of each team which I am very pleased with. We will also be releasing the MAC West Preview sometime next week or earlier. During the season Dan will be covering the MAC East and Jonathan will cover the MAC West with weekly articles and information. I also expect we will hear from Nick from time to time as he is thrilled with having more resources to expand the site. Glad to see you guys let a few fans shape the opinion you have for an entire fan base for one school. I have had similar problems with a few select Northern Illinois fans. They seem like promoting the MAC is a BAD thing or they do not care. Little do they realize that every step the conference makes as a whole it only helps the entire Mid-American Conference! But I refuse to allow the actions and words of a few fans shape my entire opinion of NIU fans. There are tens of thousands of NIU and Ohio fans across the country and I find it disappointing that a handful of fans, maybe 3-5 of them, cause you to have such hatred.

This week features MAC football games on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday as we wrap up the regular season with both spots in the MAC Championship game up for grabs.
