I also agree with the move to transparency...it's the right thing to do and the other state U.'s in Ohio will have to follow suit. But since the general fees make up our sports budget deficit, are you saying the budget should be slashed? Where would you recommend doing the slashing?

I would just rather not see him win 3 more there and would like to see them have to find a replacement. Just wondering if he's feeling the challenge of taking on Belichick and the masterminds at the highest level. If we're wanting to attract more Joe Akron's to the Zips then it's highly relevant to this board whether they go on a 10-year dynasty run or fall back out of the playoff picture.

I just can't see Braxton Miller returning to Tosu and having Barrett and Jones riding the pine behind him. Or Miller taking the chance of losing PT to either of them when he could transfer and start for most other schools without having to sit out a year. Quite a few other QB transfers also looking likely...

Perfectly stated, IMO. And then we should actively try to schedule a couple big opponents at the Q; it could only help our visibility in NE Ohio and with Cleveland potential recruits. I'm sure quite a few local Clevelanders attend the MACC there and would also come out to see Akron vs. B1G/ACC/A10, etc.
