If not Red Panda, how about : -
I believe the original bonds were 20-year but they have probably been re-financed.

From page 3 (expenses) 34 Athletic facilities debt service, leases and rental fees - 45,427 (mens basketball) - - 3,669,935 ("non-program-specific") - 3,715,362 (total) Attachment A (Expense Procedures) Athletic Facility Debt Service, Leases and Rental Fees 30. Obtain a listing of debt service schedules, lease payments and rental fees for athletics facilities for the reporting year. Compare a sample of 5 facility payments including the top two highest facility payments and an additional 3 haphazardly selected payments to additional supporting documentation (e.g. debt financing agreements, leases, rental agreements). Results: We were informed by management that all payments transferred from the athletics fund to the general fund were related to debt service. They are not paid directly to the lender. The transfer amounts were agreed to the allocated debt service schedule, which was approved by the Board of Trustees.

The World of College Basketball

Were there 8 omitted teams ranked higher than us? Even if not, I would expect additional P5's to be given preferential seeding in the future. -
Although we joke, I think this is great and fully support Canada but I wonder how many U.S. arena crowds outside of Buffalo would know the words to O Canada (or maybe they display it on the scoreboard)

per Gemini.. The official nickname for the University of Massachusetts Amherst (UMass) womenβs sports teams is the Minutewomen. While the men's teams are known as the Minutemen, the university uses the gender-specific version for its women's programs. Both share Sam the Minuteman as the official mascot and wear the school colors of maroon and white. A Brief History The transition to these names didn't happen until the early 1970s. Here is a quick look at the evolution of the UMass identity: Aggies & Statesmen: In the early 20th century, the school (then Massachusetts Agricultural College) was often referred to by these names. Redmen: From 1948 until 1972, the teams were known as the Redmen. Minutemen/Minutewomen: In 1972, following concerns regarding the previous name's impact on Native American communities, the student body voted to change the nickname. The "Minutemen" was chosen for its deep historical ties to the American Revolution and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. As women's sports programs grew on campus during that same decade, they naturally adopted the title "Minutewomen."

Ramaswamy narrative on Ohio Higher Ed
ZippyRulz replied to ZipsBBjunkie's topic in General UA & Campus Discussion
I believe some of those cuts were 'strategic' and not strictly due to less than 5 degrees awarded per year. And some may simply be a consolidation of BA/BS options. It has the feel of creepage toward some eventual mergers of some type, Ramaswamy or not. -

One could say JoeMo makes a fiscal contribution by taking less pay to be here than what his true market value is. -
Bring on the Minutewomen. Zips don't back down!

Nothing wrong with status quo if your status quo is good. Elevating would be a pleasant surprise if it happens.
