the good news is the zips are not the worst team in d-1 with the win over eastern.the bad news shows were are not muchbetter than the worst teams in d-1.i hope the admin makes the right decision.i saw nothing in this game that would want me to keep jd.we barley beat a winless 0-12 eastern michigan.jd has done nothing the last four season to keep his job.i just dont see how you can keep a guy with three losing season in a row then follow that with a 3-9 record.any other coach in d-1 would have been gone last season.if you think attendance is bad now wait till next season.we need people in the stands to pay for the stadium,and this won't happen while jd is here.i think he is s decent guyand runs a clean program,but cannot win games.

the little money we get from espn is not worth having are games on espnu on a weeknight.i think each team gets around1 million from tv revenue.that money could easliy be made up by having games on weekends.people spend money on tickets,food,zips gear ect.if we were getting 10 million a year from espn it might be a different story.plus we are put on a channel that most cables viewers cannot get ,or have to pay more for.i still don't understand why the mac does notstart it's own network to show games.let the cable compaines have the channel for free.it would be a great way to promotemac schools.we could show are own games on cbale.i am not sure of the cost factor,but you have 13 schools to divide the cost.if this confernce is ever going to grow they need to think outside the box.

game ,set, match, 21 point beat down. at this point this team is not doing much right.when we get to the line we can't make any foul shots.when we shoot the three we are lucky to hit the rim? can it get much worse than this?n.c. state had wide open looks all night.

if n.c state shoots that way all year they will win the acc.at the same time the refs are not helping us with the way they call the games.

the refs are calling tounch fouls as soon as the akron guy touches a nc state player a foul is called.they are not calling them the other way though.

nik does that spin move on the baseline and goes out of bounds.this has to be the worst half i have seen the zips play.there is a feed at the tourney website.

not the way steve is playing defense now.i think he was 0-12 in the game against the zags to.

n.c. state guys are wide open at the top of the arc.they don't even hit rim.it's all net.i don't think they have had any balls even touch the rim.i think we picked the wrong day to play these guys.

does anybody know about the coach from app state.i wonder what it would take to get him from $ standpoint.they have been one of the top 1-aa teams for a few years.i just wonder if he would be interested in the job.what we would pay him might not be much more than he is making now?

playing bad for the most of the year gets you 23 wins? that has to be one of the dumbest statements i have ever heard.the problem is zip nation is now spoiled by the programs success.the same fans who thought jd needed a 6-6 record to keep his job think we played bad for the most part in b-ball.kd early sucess has casued some of the fans to lose perspective.somehow we still have football coach who is going on losing season number 4.we lose one game in b-ball and everybody says the sky is falling with gp leading the way.i can count on one hand the number of times gp has said anything good aboutkd.that's why his post are not taken seriously by me, and some other zips nation memebers.if we lose to n.c. state he willbe right back on here ripping the team,and k.d.

i don't remeber to many times were nate had 12 rebounds in 24 min.remember he only played 24 min not 35-40.even the autsin peay announers said that he was making thier players chnage shots in the paint.im sorry but 10 pt 12 reb in 24 min is as good anybody esle did.this inclueded guys how have been in our program for 2-3 years.

i have to agree with the other poster in that gp just stirs the pot.he waits for akron to lose on game, and then comes inattacking k.d.when the zips start winning then you disapper.you never have anything good to say about k.d. or the team.unfortunately more people than just me have seen this pattern.zips win -you run and hide.they lose one game and the k.d. is a bad coach ect.ect.ect. if akron starts winning a few games you will hide for ahwile.if they lose to n.c. state you will say kd needs to go.for some reason you do not like k.d. i am not sure what the reason is, but it seems to be personell.

look at what happened to the guy (mitch mustane).he was starting at arkansas.he bolted for u.s.c.,and has been on the bench ever since.if he stays at arkon he will probably be a four year stater.if he goes somewhere else these is not a guarentee he will play.where would he transfer to? the defenses he faces in the mac are nothing compared to bcs teams.i hope he stays at arkon and i think leaving would be a big mistake for him.
