    When I typed up that question there was no "watch" info on the GoZips.com website. Now they have the "watch" icons up & it, as you said, basically looks like a security camera someone affixed to the top of the bleachers 😂

     

    But, yeah, better than nothing. I tuned in for a couple innings today.

    I also think the MAC is strong enough year in and year out that the should be represented in the NIT most years too, although when they get in that tournament they are always vastly underseeded.

    I heard from someone well connected to Ohio high school football that these off field problems have become large enough that people from around the state are talking about it. Maybe the fan bases need a little cooling off period.

    The off field problems between STVM & Hoban, specifically?

    We have better ball movement w/o Ali.  I'm sure that is a big part of X's development this season.

    I certainly do not miss the Ali Ali Dribble-Dribble-Dribble-Dribble-Turnover/Forced Shot offense.

    Once in a while Ali could get hot. Those were fun games to watch, but were too few and far between and were at the detriment of team-ism. And sometimes Ali couldn't throw it into the ocean.

     

    But Ali was a very versatile defender & having a 6-8 ball handler was pretty great.

     

    As has already been mentioned, I believe losing Dawson was the biggest gut punch.  He's our junkyard dog, someone you simply can't punk, a tenacious defender who's pretty capable of hitting from 3.  Hope he comes back next season fully recovered from his achilles injury 🤞🙏

    OT, but I happened upon this tweet. Apparently CSU is playing in the Horizon League championship game tonight.  When they had better teams and our rivalry was pretty intense I used to loathe CSU.  Now I'm basically 🤷‍♂️ 

     

    1. How awful is the Horizon League? I don't follow but it must be bad, no?

    2. I still wish they didn't refuse to schedule us, as it was a good, regional rivalry.  Same with YSU (I don't think YSU refuses to schedule us like CSU).
