Alright folks, I know everyone is disappointed this morning about last night's loss, but I wanna give some major love to the Rowdies for showing up and being loud. Taking a full bus to Toledo for a big game says a lot about how many die-hards we have in the section. Hopefully we can take 8 times as many people to Can't in March.Also, the little bro on the bus, Kyle. I sat behind him at the game and if he doesn't go to Akron, I don't want him going anywhere in the MAC. This kid is the future of the AK-Rowdies!I'll see everyone on Tuesday! I propose all the Rowdies who don't have night classes sit outside the JAR and wait for Bubba to get off the bus. Anyone know what time their bus will probably pull in?

Who's the guy on OU that dribbles the ball like a fairy? I'm looking for him to break an ankle in this one so no one in the MAC has to be embarassed for him anymore. It seriously pains me to watch that fruitcake.

The JAR is definitely not student-section friendly. We need to get rid of those seats and put metal bleachers there. Now, I know you are thinking that will look like crap, but the sound of a full student sectin jumping on metal would be killer. If this ever happens, the Rowdies should all wear metal shoes too.

I honestly don't think the OU game is gonna be that great of a game. Hopefully, I won't be shocked, but people are gonna come out because of Bubba, not the awesome matchup.

I do love the Moving A, but there is no way we should ever go back it. Maybe for throwback day, but the new logo is the way to go.

We've got three 4-star restaurants, a national-class art museum, the nicest minor league baseball park in America, the nicest public library in Ohio, two beautiful theaters (and no, OU hilljack, we're not talking movie theaters) a symphony orchestra, Stan Hywett, the National Inventors Hall, private playwrite and dance companies, night clubs, coffee shops, jazz clubs and art galleries, Firestone C.C., and THE GOODYEAR FRICKIN' BLIMP!!! The list goes go on and on, but I've got a job to get back to... We've also got POWER HOUR AT MANNY'S!!!!!

That's a damn good point. I may be showing that I have absolutely no life at all, but if anyone has ever watched America's Funniest Home Videos, you'll find that the winner always has a kid in it.

I always thought the production was done pretty well during games. I may be a bit biased since I know a few people that work at the JAR, but the content on Akron's video board is supreme to other MAC schools. The videos played on other boards are generally long and drawn out. I think Akron's promos are short and sweet. Get your attention, entertain you for a few seconds and let you carry on. Other schools play a promo for like 3 or 4 minutes and no one even pays attention past about 20 seconds.I've never watched the screens during gameplay, so I don't know how the coverage or replays are. I do think the University has tried to step it up a bit with the pyro before games, but I know its impossible to turn off the lights when they do it, unless they wanna postpone the game 8 minutes while the lights fire back up.

I'm definitely thinking about hitting up this one.

#20 is fast and can knock down the three. I was really looking forward to seeing Valencia play, but was not impressed. I didn't see anyone that would match up with J-Wood very well. I look for him to have a big offensive and rebounding day and Cedrick should have a big game defensively with steals and contested shots. If we can penetrate, we will blow them out. Can't had some serious open lanes to the basket and shot like 1 of 17 from behind the arc. Their players all seemed pretty small, I don't know if they really were or if we were just sitting up high. Toledo has some scrappy rebounders. They weren't real tall, but they knocked around loose balls and dove for them.After tonight, Toledo seemed to be a perimeter team. They rarely took the ball inside (I think they were outscored in the paint 42-20) and when they did, they just drove straight baseline, got trapped, and settled for a contested jumper. They did not drive directly at the basket. Also, I don't remember what number he was, but one of their smaller guys is reckless with the ball when he tries to drive. Look for some charges. I think if we can play solid defense, we blow them out. If we get into a shootout with them, the winner is probably gonna be whoever shoots better from behind the arc.
